I adore my blog…it’s so very me!  Thank you for making this such a great experience.  I now feel like I’m blogging with the big girls!  I decided to start my blog last November. I had no friggin’ idea what I was doing. I knew I needed guidance, so after researching “how to blog for newbies” books, I purchased “The IT Girl’s Guide to Blogging with Moxie”. The Moxie Girls…Katherine Scoleri and Joelle Reeder are responsible for my blog makeover. Kathy listened to all of my ideas, absorbed my persona (dirty minded redhead with big boobs) and voile…Stella’s Roar was reborn! Thanks, Chicas!

I have to give a big shout-out to Joelle at Moxie Design Studios for not only the fabulous design but for perfectly understanding (and capturing) the essence of what The Anomalous Life means to me…fun, stylish, REAL, alive…not depressing, forlorn or lonely.  I may be a thirty-something single woman, but I am living and learning and having a DAMN good time doing it.  Thanks, Joelle, you nailed it, rock star!

If I had to pick
a set of words to describe
our new design? Oy.

They would barely fit
in this abbreviated
yet deft format.

Words like: “HOLY CRAP.”
And “HOLY TOASTING FLAPJACKS.”
And my own favorite?

Dumbfounded silence.
It’s so awesomely gorgeous,
It makes us shut up.

Wait, you need serious testimonial? We Smart Bitches are not known for keeping our traps shut, but Joelle’s design skillz, her database beating-down skillz, and her professional yet friendly manner made redesigning our site a truly damntastically awesome experience. What a terrific experience!  I was new to blogging and started with only a half-formed notion of what I wanted for my design and a blog title, and Kathy made it happen.  The color scheme was an absolute joy — I don’t know how she did it (I believe my entire contribution amounted to “I like blue!”)  Kathy asked all the right questions, was great to work with, fun and professional and very helpful.  It’s such a gorgeous design and it never gets old, every day it looks better than the day before and the design gets tons of compliments.  I love it!  I couldn’t be happier.

I got in the queue at a very busy time and when my turn in line came up (far sooner expected, as I knew they were swamped), I had absolutely no idea what kind of design I wanted for my site.  I can see how that would be frustrating for a designer,  but she was very patient with me, asking me a few questions about colours, features, etc. I literally gave the girl next to no information at all and she pulled two of the most beautiful skins ever (yes, I’m biased) out of the air.I knew going in that I would have a good experience with [The Moxie Girls].  However, Joelle went above and beyond and I’m incredibly impressed with her professionalism!  I would recommend Moxie [Design Studios] to anyone who is looking for an impeccable, original design delivered with class and grace. She made sure I was thrilled with every last detail and I still get a big kick out of looking at my skins!

Joelle did such a great job on my site! It’s so easy to use, it’s pleasing to the eye, and best of all, Joelle has been very patient. I can’t thank you enough for my wonderful new site! THANK YOU!
