Joelle isn’t just an artist, she’s a mind-reader. When she asked what I wanted for my website, I gave her a long list of what I didn’t want plus two jpg images and a link to a YouTube video. She came back with a design that was nothing like the site I’d envisioned but absolutely what I wanted and needed. I still don’t know how she did it, I’m just grateful she did. Wonderful to work with — flexible, open-minded, patient, and incredibly hardworking — Joelle is the perfect website designer. You should hire her now.

Kathy did first-class work on my web site and blog, twice! She seemed to “get” how to create images and layouts that are professional, but warm and inviting looking. She was unfailingly proactive and responsive, and worked extremely well with feedback. She designed the first website that went with our book, MarketBusters, and then managed to migrate the material and keep it updated when I decided to go with a personal site of my own. When I hear of the nightmares colleagues have had with their web sites, I’m so grateful to be working with Kathy. We’re about to complete another book, and you can bet I’ll be working with her on that.
Once upon a time there were two innocent people who had this vague idea of an website that would host a magical and inspiring storytelling podcast for children. But they knew very little about the “guts” of a podacsting website. How would it operate? What would they need to consider? How could it be designed? What did they want it to accomplish?
As the sound of their heads beating against walls echoed throughout Northern California, Joelle cracked a seasoned smile, sipped a metaphorical martini and soothed their ears with expert knowledge EVERY TIME THEY ASKED. No question or line of questioning was ever disregarded or unexplored. Thorough? Shall we talk thorough? The woman invented thorough (you’ll see…) And by the end they had found an obi-wan mentor to rely on forever, plus they had the coolest website in the enchantment neighborhood of the web. Moral: Highest recommendation to those who want their dreams to be turned into reality by someone who is a dream to work with, for real!

After four years of blogging, I decided it was time to get serious about promoting my writing — which meant I needed a professional, put-together look. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted for my new website, but I knew who I wanted to design it — Joelle Reeder. I have admired the quality work of Moxie Design Studios for several years and I knew if anyone could take my vague ideas and give me the look I wanted for my site, it would be Joelle. She worked with me to create exactly what I wanted in a website — something fun, friendly and feminine — and pink! It was a pleasure working with Joelle and I will never go anywhere else for my web design needs.

It’s amazing what a difference it makes hiring a couple of American chicks who know what they’re doing. My last website was nothing but aggro but this time it has been smooth sailing. So, if you’re in the market for a blog with attitude, I hope you’ll look up the Moxie Girls.

Joelle, I’m stunned. It’s gorgeous. And so much detail!!! You really outdid yourself this time. I’ve always told people they should come to you for great designs, but you also provide over-the-top service and obviously care as much as your clients do about having a fantastic site with all the latest bells and whistles. Ah, hell, just put a big ole ad for yourself in place of my masthead. Knock yourself out.

Kathy has held my hand through the whole process of building a stellar website for my clients’ book and author website. All her suggestions were terrific, most especially using MovableType. It’s so easy to go in and make changes. Kathy came highly recommended by another Virtual Assistant, and she has my “second!”
