This is easily Mindy Robert’s fourth design from us and we’re always happy to work with her.  This time, Mindy provided some adorable art from stationery illustrator Teardrop.  We manipulated the art a bit to create a slightly softer, sweeter look while keeping the logo in a somewhat familiar style and palette.  The main priority on this project was keeping things simple.  Mindy’s blog exploded in popularity and her last design grew rapidly, so we wanted to make sure to focus on the overall goals for the site: room for her to write and post decent-sized images, premium placement for her advertisers, and keeping the links and site ranking in good standing while streamlining the structure a bit and minimizing the amount of “stuff” required to load her content.
