The Material Girls approached us with an idea to expand their popular interior design blog hosted on Blogger.  With their rapidly growing audience they decided to take it national and widen their vision.  They wanted to tap into the design influences they loved by city and room to grow their advertising base. Using a very talented illustrator to draw out their fabulous Marie Antoinette looks they let us take on the task of moving their blog to WordPress MU (Multi User).  Their blog now houses blogs from Dallas, Houston, New York, Los Angeles and Chicago - each with its own distinct flavor of Marie Antoinette.

Using WordPress MU allowed them to provide a blogging control panel for each city blogger, while the administrator oversees the overall operation.  With some custom code magic we filtered the cities on to the main page of the site so everyone arriving could sample the latest and greatest from each city. 

Emily Johnston, the beauty and brains behind the operation set her sights on soft vintage colors to offset the gentle yet elegant illustrations.  With careful font selection and some finesse, Material Girls Blog took off running and they’ve been enjoying their new home ever since.
