Lisa was looking for a fresh, modern look to go with her logo for Loverly.com. Her new site is being built by a friend, but she wanted some of that our moxie in her design. After meeting with Lisa on the phone, I had a good idea of what she was looking for: elegant, chic, but youthful and hip without being juvenile. She wanted to incorporate pinks or reds, so we decided to use both! This design was delivered with standards-compliant HTML/CSS for the home page, an interior page, comments, a photo gallery and an individual photo gallery comments page. I also customized her newsletter template, as well as her SpreadShirt shop to match her new brand.
My Web site was a disaster, and I needed help. I already had a great logo designed for Loverly.com, but I couldn’t get the right page design to go with it. Moxie Design Studios was the answer to my prayers! Joelle created a clean, classy and modern layout with the right use of color that allowed my logo to stand out while still being cohesive. She listened to what I had to say, helped determine what I needed, and got the design right on the first try!
Now, I think Loverly.com looks better than tons of more established sites. It is beautiful, it’s memorable, and the colors are classic and trendy at the same time. It hits all the right notes for the women whom I want to visit my site. I know I’ll be able to build Loverly into a strong site and online brand.
