Ellen Mirza, the Editor and Founder of Lipstick, Powder n’ Paint a popular beauty blog, came to Moxie Design Studios for an overhaul.  Ellen enlisted an illustrator to create her fun character and accessories and we set out to transform her blog into a fun, bright, layout that could accommodate advertising without it taking over her content.  Ellen wanted to launch a companion site called Lipstick Lifestyle that mimicked the style of her sister site but focused on shopping and lifestyle items.  We melted the look and feel of Lipstick Powder n’ Paint with the hip illustrations and flipped her color scheme around to keep her branding in tact but give it a distinct look.  Bright blues and pinks are a running theme, keeping the site looking fun and super fresh.
