Christie Camizzi wanted to create a fun, informative design for her new podcast, Healthy KidCast. As the name suggests, it’s a show hosted by Christie and her co-host, Michelle Jeter, both registered nurses to provide parents with helpful tips and answers to commonly asked questions.

There were ideas all over the place, but first we needed a logo to set the mood, so we created this whimsical, colorful design.  Christie was really liberal with the reigns and allowed us to just “go nuts” with the design, so to speak.  We wanted the show episodes and purpose to be in the forefront, but not be so “traditional” about it.  The ladies provided a welcoming headshot for use on the homepage to introduce you to the show and we left plenty of room for advertisers both along top and bottom, if need be and of course, in the sidebar.  Our favorite part is the navigation.

In addition to the logo and site design, at the last minute we helped Christie out with her media kit, recreating her initial rough Word sketch into a bold, cute layout that’s fun to look at in addition to being informative.
