Mia came to us looking for a fun, flirty design for her new blog associated with her business website, Fleurtle™. In preparation for her project, we saw lots of ways Mia’s main business site could be integrated with the chosen blog platform, Wordpress. We felt there should be a cohesiveness in her brand between her blog and business site, which was full of amazing illustrations that we felt could be leveraged for a more luxurious, color-rich presentation. After some discussion about what was possible with Wordpress, despite just having the site designed, Mia decided to have us redo the whole enchilada.
We took great care to ensure each section on Fleurtle used the client’s illustrations to their fullest, sometimes being the entree, sometimes just a side dish, depending on the amount of content each section had. There were many pages to this site outside of the blog and each had it’s own unique set of graphics and content that we wanted to showcase as beautifully as possible, while still making it simple for the user to navigate.
Mia decided she wanted to use eBay Prostores to manage her newsletter members, so we integrated ProStores with Constant Contact so with every new purchase through eBay Prostores of a Club Fleurtle membership, that user is automatically subscriber to Fleurtle’s mailing list. Customization of this store and Constant Contact newsletters was also done to match Fleurtle’s new look.
