Rita McGrath is a repeat and loyal client to Moxie Design Studios. This is the third project we’ve done with Rita McGrath and as usual it was a great pleasure! She is releasing her next book Discovery-Driven Growth this month and after the success of the other projects we’ve done together (MarketBusting.com and her personal business website RitaMcGrath.com), she came to us to create a site for her new book.
Along with the book’s cover art, done by the publisher, and direction from her team, we created a site to showcase the books strengths and to work as a lasting advertising piece. The book cover had a really bright color palette but we managed to make the site look streamlined and professional, with a little punch of tangerine to accent the look. The whole site is run using ExpressionEngine and is completely manageable by her staff with little effort. We wish her much success!
Kathy did first-class work on my web site and blog, twice! She seemed to “get” how to create images and layouts that are professional, but warm and inviting looking. She was unfailingly proactive and responsive, and worked extremely well with feedback. She designed the first website that went with our book, MarketBusters, and then managed to migrate the material and keep it updated when I decided to go with a personal site of my own. When I hear of the nightmares colleagues have had with their web sites, I’m so grateful to be working with Kathy. We’re about to complete another book, and you can bet I’ll be working with her on that.
