So you want something other than WordPress, huh?  We think Wordpress is one of the best platforms for easily switching your designs, but we love a lot of different platforms, so we get it!  We suggest grabbing the HTML/CSS option and stuffing your default blog code inside.  Easy peasy!

But, if you’re not the technical type, we can wrap it around your default blog platform’s code bits at our current hourly rate and schedule. Contact us for more details.

Femmeplates™ are our creative outlet.  We design what strikes our fancy on a particular day.  Serendipity at it’s finest.  Custom Femmeplate™ requests aren’t accepted in order to avoid stifling the creative juices from flowing freely.  We may from time to time ask through our blog what you would like to see but no guarantees your monkey Jello design will make the cut.  Unique requests would fall under custom work so feel free to fill out the RFP and check our schedules for availability if you are interested in getting a custom job done.

Alas, no.  These designs are a labor of love, something we create in our spare time between our custom design clients. The designs are sold as-is, except for the personalization associated with each design.  There are various price points and levels of licensing available and listed on our Femmeplates™ sidebar.  Additional personalization can be accommodated, but it would be billed at our current hourly rate, in addition to the initial cost of the template.

Maybe!  We know what happened… you perused the items, and then came back a week later and the list of features changed.  We’re chicks… we change our mind sometimes.  As a small two-women run business, we need to test the waters, see what works and what doesn’t, and respond to client needs to make sure all is fair for everyone involved.  We reserve the right to modify, add or replace included features and/or pricing as we see fit without any prior notice or warning.  We gotta do what’s best for everyone as well as ourselves.  So while that pot holder might have been the deal breaker for you, fret not… we probably replaced it with a better item or just plain ran out.

Femmeplates™ themes are designed for 1024x768 browser resolution or higher. Each design is 960 pixels wide with a 20 pixel gutter for drop-shadows and graphic touches.

Each Femmeplate design also includes accommodations for generous premium adspace, usually a 300x250 rectangle in the sidebar or a 728x90 leaderboard along the top, the most popular choices that don’t disrupt the flow of your design.  Occasionally, there may be a design that includes skyscraper ad space.

“Exclusive”, as we use it in regards to Femmeplates™, means that our design is sold to you and only you and no one else. Ever.  It does not

mean you own the exclusive rights to the design or the images used within. You may not redistribute the design or the images contained for profit or gain of any kind, nor may you use it on marketing materials without express written consent. If you wish to have an even more exclusive couture design for your blog or website or a logo for merchandise, please fill out our Request for Proposal.

“Non-Exclusive” means that we are free to re-sell the design as often as we choose within the boundaries of the license agreements on the images associated with the design.  Ba-da-boom, ba-da-bing.

The majority of our illustrations and imagery come from iStockPhoto.com.  Each image is purchased in advance for creative purposes under the basic licensing agreement of iStockPhoto.  Immediately upon sale of a Femmeplate, we will re-purchase

the imagery used in that template under the Extended License Agreement, per the terms and conditions required by iStock.

We respect the talent and rights of artists, illustrators and photographers and try to do our part to support them in their endeavor, as a professional and personal courtesy. The costs of these extended license agreements have already been rolled into the inclusive Femmeplate pricing for your convenience.

The rights of the images are owned by the artist, illustrator or designer. You may not redistribute the image in any way, nor use the logo on merchandise or any other items for sale or promotional purposes.  If you wish to discuss a custom logo, please contact us or your chosen illustrator directly.

You are welcome to email us with any questions about your desired Femmeplates™, but please know we will not hold any designs. It’s first come-first served.

Once a design is purchased at Exclusive Level, either for “markup only” or Wordpress theme, it is no longer available for non-exclusive sale and vice versa.  Your purchase must be made

via Paypal, where you can use a major credit card, electronic check or of course, your own Paypal account.

Within one business day you will receive confirmation of your order from Paypal, a confirmation email directly from the designer, including any questions and then your design will be sent to development.  There are NO refunds once the design has gone to development, so please make sure you are… well, sure!  We are still working on implementing our extended e-commerce features, so if for some reason someone has purchased your desired Femmeplate™ ahead of you, your money will be refunded as soon as we are made aware of it.
