Happy Holidays!

This is just a note to wish you and yours a wonderful Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Festivus, Solstice, what have you… :cheese:

We will be taking the remainder of the year off to recharge our batteries for the fabulous projects we have scheduled for the New Year and will be returning to the office on Monday, January 5th to kick start 2009. Kathy and I both are so grateful for the amazing clients we’ve had the opportunity to work with this year, along with all the cool people kind enough to hang out on our waiting list.  Thank you for your business!  And if we haven’t worked with you yet, we look forward to doing so soon.

Happy Holidays and a safe New Year!

Ho Ho Ho and Happy Holidays!

You may have noticed a little dose of Christmas cheer here on our website.  The adorable holiday versions of our characters were again designed by the ever-talented Derek Yaniger.  (He’s got a very cool new art/coffee table book out, Wildsville!  It would make a great gift for Christmas, don’t you think? *wink*)  Of course, so does our book, Blogging with Moxie!

This is just a reminder that we’re on administrative hiatus for the month of December. There are a few jobs that we are wrapping up in the first couple weeks of the month and then after that we will be enjoying the holidays with our friends and family, gearing up for the amazing new year and new projects ahead of us.

However, that said, we’re going to be opening our schedules tomorrow to begin reviewing requests for proposals for the Winter 2009 season.  We will begin by contacting any prospective clients who wished to remain on our waiting list from the Summer first, then respond to any and all inquiries we received from September 2nd - 11:59pm tonight, December 1st.  If you wish for your project to be considered for the Winter season (January - March), please make sure to get your thoroughly-completed Request for Proposal submitted by midnight tonight.

I, Joelle, will be out of the office December 3rd - 7th in Atlanta to go over the inquiries with Kathy personally. (If I am finishing up a project for you, fret not. I’ll be responding to email.)  We are really looking forward to reviewing your inquiries and discussing your projects further with you.

Here’s to a beautiful, fun-filled, happy, happy holiday season to you and yours!  xo

Two Weeks!

Hello, hello!  This is just a quick note to remind you that our schedules will be opening for project review two weeks from today, beginning December 2nd.  We will begin contacting anyone who wished to remain on our list from the Fall review first and then move on to those who submitted their requests for Winter 2009.  Please don’t let the waiting list discourage you!  We’ll follow up on every single request we receive up until 11:59pm December 1st starting

December 2nd and hopefully, that will include you.

So! If you are interested in working with either myself or Kathy in the first quarter of 2009, January - March, please make sure to submit your thoroughly completed Request for Proposal form as soon as possible. The sooner you get it in, the higher you are on the list.

Please

be as thorough and realistic as possible.  We are only able to take a limited number of project per quarter and incomplete forms only delay the process.  Help us help you!  :cheese:

Kathy and I are excited about the coming year and look forward to working with you!

Give a Little Bit, Give a Little Bit of Your Love to Me

As some of you may know, we are both avid supporters of various causes and charities.  One of

my

chosen recipients of charitable goodness is AIDS Walk.  For the last 4 years, I’ve participated in the 3k AIDS Walk San Diego and through donations from friends, family and people like you fine folks, along with fundraising events, I’ve raised close to $7000 since 2004 for this cause.

For those who aren’t familiar with AIDS Walk, here’s a bit from their website:

AIDS Walk San Diego is San Diego’s largest one-day HIV/AIDS fundraiser and the biggest non-governmental financial provider for HIV/AIDS in San Diego County. Dozens of agencies — serving thousands of clients — rely on funds raised at the annual AIDS Walk to help provide essential prevention and care programs to thousands of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS.

I don’t need to wax poetic about all the reasons why we need to provide support and services for those living with HIV/AIDS all over the U.S.  What I can do is ask if you could throw a dollar into my kitty, or whatever you’re willing to donate. I’m about half-way to my modest goal of $500 this year and with only a couple more weeks until the walk, any donation would be appreciated.  I’m walking whether I’ve got a three dollars or three thousand, but every little bit helps.  If you’re unable to or don’t feel like kicking cash my way, consider walking with me, if you’re in the area. Or, if you have an AIDS Walk in your city, sign up and hustle your

own

tuchus for donations or volunteer at the event.

There are so many way in which you can help. I hope you will. :)

p.s. Burn your bras!  Boobie-thon is coming!

You Say Fall, We Say Autumn

Hello!  We’re back in action today, pumped full of coffee and ready to tackle our Fall schedule (October - November). We have begun reviewing all the wonderful inquiries we have received (thank you!) so if you submitted a Request for Proposal (RFP) over the Summer you will be hearing from us shortly as we set up phone consultations and/or ask questions regarding your project.  We’ve received lots of faaaaaaaabulous inquiries and we’re excited to get started on some fresh new projects!

We will continue to accept requests for projects

beginning

Winter 2009 (January - March). Any requests that came in after September 1st will be eligible for our schedule in January. We will begin reviewing requests for our Winter schedule December 2, 2008.

Thanks so much for your patience over the Summer. We’re looking forward to speaking with you and learning more about your vision for your web project.

Is it time for spiked cider yet? :cheese:
